Which golf brand should I go with?
Question by nike21: Which golf brand should I go with?
Well I usually play with Callaway. All my clubs and golf balls are callaways, but Im looking for a better brand. Which Brand is overall the best includes.. ( golf balls, clubs, gloves, total performance). Nike is very poppular, but im not sure if it is just the most poppular or is it actually the best. Im looking towards NIKE but should i go with a better brand.

Depends on what you are better at…you should buy to your weaknesses.
If you better off the tee and need iron/approach work, go with TaylorMade…they are good and the short(er) stuff
If your distance game needs work, go with Nike
If you are average at all of the above…Ping or Cleveland will give you a step up on all of those areas…
Most brands will be quite durable and long lasting…just depends on your game.
Depends on how much you’re willing to pay. If you want to go with the big brands, go with:
Balls- Nike
Clubs- Taylormade
(Gloves really don’t really matter)
Otherwise:
Balls- Slazenger or Maxfli
Clubs- Ping
Good Luck and good golfing!
Eric L,
I want to be kind but honest. It really makes no difference unless you have no handicap. You cant buy a swing and you cant buy a club that will take strokes off your game. For a regular player they are all about the same, they should be made to your swing style, though, I would not worry about the brand but the way they are made.
Good Luck

Try Srixon!!! The Srixon i-701 is one of the best set of clubs around with good Srixon Balls and nice to have on your hand gloves. I have a set of srixon’s and will play with it as long as I can. It is an absolute great set.
I have Callaway clubs as well, but i am not happy with them…the best overall brand is Titleist…do not buy nikes, trust me…
The reason that pros can go with one brand and still fit their swing is because they all have custom fitting beyond belief, and you should do the same if you want to optimize your performance. You should never go with one golf brand just because it looks good, get clubs that work for you.
