Question by joylooh: Where can i live with middle class economy in a desert town? Like Palm Springs with golf courses and pools?
I’m looking for a cool place to settle with a nice house ($ 100k-$ 200k budget). I want to live in an desert enviroment but with artificial stuff like golfcourses and pools, palms and highroller nightlife and generally luxurous modern california-ish lifestyle etc. It would be kinda nice if it had some awesome nature with cactus and mountains. I’ve heard Palm Springs is for the hollywood ballers only so i don’t think i can afford both a house and life expenses. Is Vegas an option? It feels like it’s too big these days, but i really like their artificial architecture out there. I know this whole text sound pretty stupid and confusing but i hope you guys got an idea of what I’m looking for.

Probably Las Vegas, Arizona or New Mexico…

I have recently read that houses in the Phoenix area are a bargain now
Of course you would not want to move there or Vegas with out going there first and seeing what amenities are available to you as a resident.

Arizona in Phoenix/Scottsdale areas that lies with in the Sonoran Desert. Home to more exceptional golf courses and beautiful resorts than perhaps any other community of its size. Housing in the area is affordable.
