Question by Jessika S: Taylormade Golf Bag Suggestions?
I’m getting my husband a golf bag for Christmas. The only thing he has said is ‘he would love a Taylormade.’ Any suggestions? I was leaning towards a staff bag but I really have no clue about golf. Thanks a lot!

If your husband rides in a cart get the TaylorMade r7 T2 Cart Bag. Lots of zippered pockets with easy access. A staff bag is not designed for cart use. The woods are in the front and you have to paw through the bag to find the club you need. With a cart bag the woods are in the back so all of your clubs are easily available.

Go to tgw.com and search by manufacturer(TaylorMade) and you can view all of the bags.

A true “staff” bag is huge. I would stay away from the staff bag. They are hard to transport in your car. A cart bag is great if he normally rides. They have lots of pockets and the pockets can be accessed from the correct side for cart use. If he is a walker you can get him a carry bag. Here are the three different models
    Staff – http://www.golfsmith.com/products/247288
    Cart – http://www.golfsmith.com/products/290141
    Carry – http://www.golfsmith.com/products/290139

I walk about half the time and would prefer the Carry bag. The cart bag would be fine for the times I ride. I would never show up with a staff bag, AND I’m a good golfer. :-)

    Hope this helps.

Really if he wants TMade there isn’t a great deal of choice in a staff bag.
Here is one of the few options which someone eluded to earlier.

I would suggest some type of cart bag as well. Most people use a cart bag to either ride in a cart or push their clubs in a two or three wheel cart.

I would check out the taylormade website:
