They will say “NXT Tour” on the side (and have a line-up arrow drawn).
The numbers will be a reddish colour.
If new, the balls may seem a bit tacky (sticky) relative to how a ProV1x feels.
It sounds like they may be used…I’d check every single ball before buying.
The old saying “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is” rings true.

There are several options to choose from. Buy a sleeve of NXT balls from a retail store or check the used ball box or fish bowl at a golf course. Cut both balls in half. The core and cover should give some indication. You can also inspect the logo area. Titleist first imprints the logo then sprays a clear coat on the ball. A small swab of acetone wiped across the logo will cause a counterfeit ball to streak since the ink is not clear coated. Unless they are very sharp counterfeiters. The balls may be recovered balls. There are several grades of used balls and these may be the AAA quality with no discernible flaws. What type of package are the balls in. One box or in original dozen packages. They could be range balls which Accushnet Brands, the subsidiary which includes Titleist, Pinnacle, Foot Joy, Cobra, then pad printed by the seller. Call Titleist customer service and see if this seller has an account with them and explain your inquiry. The last option is to see the dimple pattern when comparing the real ball to the balls on sale. If it’s on the level send me his number I’d like to buy several hundred.
NXT’s are cheap anyway..but the guy above is correct about the label coating..so just go with that lol..good luck
