Question by Bill Brunsfeld: Has anyone tried the medicus driver and does it work?
I am looking for good golf training aid and there is a lotta hoopla on the golf channel about the medicus driver. Does this thing work or is it a waste of money?

Contrary to what the other answer says I beg to differ. I was going to pros @ $ 100/lesson and all I got was paralysis by analysis. The thing I like the most about the medicus driver is the instant feedback. I can’t bring the pro with me(especially at $ 100/hr) to tell me when/why my swing breaks down, but I can bring the medicus. Whenever my swing starts breaking down all I have to do is swing this thing for a few minutes then my swing is fine. One thing I learned with the medicus is I tend to rush my takeaway(funny, not one pro ever told me that). Here is a site with reviews on the medicus in case your interested: http://www.squidoo.com/medicusdriverreview
It is extremely hard to use!! Very frustrating as u must have a perfect swing to make it work. By the way there is no such thing as a perfect swing in golf. Perfect swings look different for different people. You could end up with a crazy swing trying to make the medicus work. Stick to getting lessons from a local pro!
