Built by Bad Ass Golf Carts, Las Vegas, Nevada. Months in the works, and she’s nearly done. We would have been done sooner but there have been many complications, with other projects and individual complications. This is a golf custom built from the ground up. We got a Roadster body from ACG, shortened it in the middle and removed the rear step lip entirely. Glass work was done entirely by Ronniell. From there we made the frame, all welded from steel tubing, installed axle and rolling components, installed the brake system and accelerator pedal, installed a 24hp Honda motor and put a Ducati exhaust on it, welded an aluminum gas tank together. Trunk is made, just needs carpet. There’s a Kenwood radio behind a panel with a door where a glove box used to be. Issue after issue came with this project. Since we had very limited space to work with, everything was custom. The custom gas tank had to be located on the frame behind the driver instead of having the stock tank that sat above the motor. The exhaust was custom built for this application because of crossbeams that were in the way and which were important for structure. The floor had to be cut out of diamond plating because a standard floor couldn’t cut since it was too long and didn’t contour the floor for the pedals. Speakers are located in the very small kick panels because there was no other place to put them. A driving video will be made later.
