canterbury scene was no silly prog, but really exciting for 2 years. sadly, 1973 was an interruption for so many ideas. straight late capitalism started and killed everything important the next two decades, and so the today early faschism 2.0 had no probs to take over in the boring zeros.

@lunny74 It is a genre called the Canterbury Scene. This has some aspects of Prog, but is different. Perhaps a look at Wikipedia, will help.
