I bought a pack of nitro golf balls at walmart, they were only 5.50 for 15, that seems really cheap, but are they any good??

It really depends, do you put a decent amount of spin on your golf shots? If not, the ball doesn’t really matter at all as long as it’s in good condition. If you do put spin on it, you probably want to get a nicer ball like a callay hx tour or prov1.
I would guess from your question that you’re new to golf, so buy the cheapest balls you can find, because most your ball will be lost into water or the woods. The type of ball you hit is the least of your problems at this point in your game. One you start hitting the ball consistently straight, then start looking into the various types of golf balls that best fit your game.
Concentrate on improving your skills and not “buying” a golf game as most weekend golfer do.
their good for hot summer days and you can get 15 yards more on your drive
go with name brand,,,topflight etc
That’s really cheap. Because you are obviously a novice golfer, go play with them and have fun. That’s all that matter in the game of golf. Don’t let a little white ball spoil a beautiful walk in a park-like setting;-).
