I now do all my videos with Sony HD camera with a built in Hard Drive; they have the best Camera out there by far and it is worth the extra money; I use it every day and it is going on 3 years now; the new ones (which I just invested in) have a built in 12 Megapixel still camera for unbelievable still pictures with a 240 gig hard drive; just fantastic! They also have another feature that none other has which is a caddy for a Blue Tooth Microphone for great audio…Shawn

What type of video camera do you recommend to record the golf swing?
I am thinking of buying the v1 software and wanted your advice on a camera.
Thanks,
I know he had a career in tennis but his colossal task of tranfering his experience in tennis into golf is major.T.Gallway never intended to teach technic in his book because he was a beginner. He was only sharing a process of learning by beeing more aware of whats happening inside us and around us. Even if this book is not perfect ( like most) I would suggest it to any golfer because this aspect of learning is rarely cover by most teacher. Good luck.
I know he did; there is a reason I said Tennis because Gallwey was a great tennis pro and I think he conveys things much better in tennis and has much more credibility in his own game; there were too many passages that did not ring true to me in golf as I am far more advanced in that game than he could ever be (everyone has his own specialty); my favorite is “Inner tennis, Playing the game” which goes even deeper; Thanks for the comment though; Shawn
FYI T.Gallway has made “the inner game of golf” which I think is more suitable.
You got it!
its as simple as that finish your backswing full hip turn and full shoulder turn
Yes it is!
Shawn
That looks like the device they use at golftec. Correct me if I’m wrong :p.
Give the guy credit! He is trying to do something about it right? Everyone in golf has been there and there is no shame; I thank Paul for letting me use his swing as an example…
Very important when learning not to be judgmental, it interferes with the natural learning process; a great book on the subject is “the inner game of tennis” by Timothy Gallway; Thanks for the comment! Shawn
Yes, Yes, Paul! You’re definitely in good hands here.
Paul, I spent some time with GolfTec also. You’re in good hands now and will appreciate the personal attention Shawn provides.
