Totally cheesy ending, but I can’t wait to try this out. I can drive about 320 but I play some courses with holes over 600 so I would like to get closer to 400 guess I’ll find out in a few months when the weather warms up. Till then I’ll just keep using the towel drill and working on that nice snap sound

Marty Peters is a great guy to golf with. He helps everyone on their game. Him and Ryan throw far!

ive watched this video several times and always seem to get something from it. too bad, its 10 degrees out where i am.
best driver ever is the surge.

i hear ya I just got back fromplaying..the cold air makes the discs drop like rocks doesn’t it

  5. jubuttib says:

Straight as in where you aimed or straight as in the disc tends to turn while flying? The latter will naturally happen when you start throwing harder.

  6. jubuttib says:

Yeah, same here. AND I’m also bending my wrist too much AND I’m not turning my back enough. I throw around 300-310 feet so here’s hoping that this helps. Though it’s 31 degrees Fahrenheit outside, so yeah.

  7. weedboogs says:

oh and i forgot Mark Ellis is the peoples champion, kickass group of guys that Discraft crew

  8. weedboogs says:

Marty is such a cool guy. Played a tournament last week with my girlfriend, we ended up playing with MARTY PETERS. He spent half the day helping her gain about 50-75 feet on her drive. Great guy, fun to play with. Sickest putting I’ve seen in a while also.

The way that understable disc flatten out when you throw on a hyzer is the pop you put into your wrist. The harder the pop and the smoother the release the more likely you will actually make the disc straighten out. However, if you hyzer to much or dont have as much pop, your disc will fade left pretty quickly. The best thing to do is get your pop down throwing understable disc flat, then once you have a good snap and the discs start turning over slightly adjust the angle more towards hyzer.

been playing for a little over a year now with the fan grip, knew about the “power” grip but was to stupid to try it, until now. Just threw my valk and star wraith “softly” in a fieldish area at my work and they ever so softly glided about 200ft with little to no effort on my part, so I cant wait to go out to local course when I get off and put a little more power behind them and see what I can do. Awesome tips 5*!

Good video. The end was a little extreme but funny.

  23. 7apout says:

wow first time seeing this… alls i can say is that im a stud… im the first guy.. in the blue shorts.. that year i got 79th at am nats this year i got 16th.. maybe the clinic helped….

  24. Soppa77 says:

Definately one of the better Discraft videos, although I must say that Mark Ellis and his stuff really rocks too!

  25. brendanb1236 says:

umm. well u can just try different angles. and which ever gives best result for givin disc is the best angle. i throw pulses and predators on a slight hyzer for the effect they get w/ those understable discs. but honestly no one’s angle of release will be the same. so really its up to u to figure it out.
