What is the value of these golf clubs?
Please help. Any information is greatly appreciated. I have an old set of golf clubs, in good used condition, that I can’t find much information about. They are shakespeare aluminum shaft clubs with “gary player autograph” written on the back of the heads on the irons. And for the woods, they have “gary player” on the tops of the heads. The grips are Golf Pride : Fine Line. I am assuming this set is from the 60′s possibly even the 70′s. This is a complete set and in good condition. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

There are collectors of certain clubs in that age range, but as a rule they are now mostly considered obsolete. I’d keep them around in case Mr. Player is ever in your area and you could consider trying to get them signed.
This particular set is now worth somewhere around $140. If you could somehow get these ancient beauties autographed their value would go through the roof. Your best bet is to hang on to these clubs and hope to catch Gary Player in your town.
