I have a few suggestions for you.
1. Alignment – Square-up your body to your club face. Everything, feet, shoulders, hips, hands, etc.
2. Keep your lower body still during the entire swing.
3. Depending on your ball flight, adjust your grip by strengthening or weakening your hand positions along the shaft of the club.
4. In general, your body changes and so does your swing over time. A slice visits me from time to time and so does the hook. To cure them, I’ve learned it’s good practice to revisit the fundamentals whenever my swing and ball striking go bad. Alignment at address is often overlooked, but very important. If you start a swing poorly aligned, there’s a good chance it will finish poorly aligned.
Ah what do I know. Good luck. Keep trying and you’ll figure it out.
I just got back from a lesson with the PGA pro at the course I play. In the matter of 10 minutes, he had me hitting the ball straight. After another 10 minutes, with a nice little draw. Spend the money, take a lesson or two. It cheaper than a new driver.
This is what I tried.
1. Closed Stance
2. Strong Grip
Now I hit a nice draw.
