Not totally high end, but not super cheap…what would be the best brand too? I have taken golf lessons before, I am ok, I want to get into it again, but I want my own clubs

You should be able to get a good quality set for about $800 (including irons, woods, and putter). Look at the used club sections in Golf Galaxy or Golfsmith for quality brands at much reduced prices compared to new.

My sister-in-law bought a Wilson Hope Complete Set from Rock Bottom Golf at the start of this year for $149, it’s down to $129 now – [ http://rockbottomgolf.com/wilson-golf-ladies-hope-complete-hybrid-irons-set.html ] and she’s happy with it. She wasn’t much of a golfer to start with, but she’s used these clubs more than I thought she would already this year and seems to be improving.

Check out Rock Bottom for some other ideas on prices. They don’t have much of a women’s selection, but you can at least get an idea of what things are going for these days.

I would say anywhere from $150-$200 bucks. That should be feasible to buy a nice set of golf clubs.

I’m a single digit handicap and have spent BIG BUCKS on clubs for years. Recently I’ve purchased some Warrior Golf Clubs to change the make-up of my bag. They are awesome clubs, great price, and I’m very pleased with them. Check them out online, ask about demo clubs. I think that you will be greatly surprised.

Truth is you can get your clubs and everthing else for less than 700.00 if you get them used.

I agree that you’ll end up paying between $150 – $300 for a set. Of course it can get a lot more expensive than that depending on brand and features. If you need help choosing, there’s some articles about golf club selection in the source link. Good luck with your new clubs!
