    Thanks Robert, This would depend on the individual, if you have a player with a large Xfactor stretch (downswing) between the pelvis and upper chest, then I would expect the right heel to be high at impact and the weight to be more on the left side.

    Just stay on the right leg till almost contact the rest will happen automatically

    Thanks for your comments and yes it’s a nice drill that we use in our teaching programs. We would recomend that you don’t put the weight into your heel as this will straighten the knee too early and can over load the lead hip joint, plus you will destabilise the pelvis that can create lower back problems.

    good drill to help feel like what getting on to that left side is. if you make sure to plant the weight on your heel as you step you’ll have the most success with this.
