i’ll tell you the swings ( or more accurately the “shots”) that are NOT easy to learn:

    1) a fade
    2) a draw
    3) a knock down
    4) a flop

These are all variation of a standard swing, which is unique to you.

Easier shots are pitches, chips and yes, putts.

If you’re a scientific kind of person who needs to understand why you’re doing something, then I’d suggest Nick Faldo’s (or David Leadbetter’s) books — very analytical and has good pictures. His explanation and swing makes sense.

Another great, analytical swing is Ben Hogan’s…but I wouldn’t recommend that to the average golfer…way too advanced. But highly effective.

Otherwise, try an intuitive, natural swing theory.

Natural Golf is by far the easiest swing to learn, with one basic grip and fewer movements needed to perfect the swing.

Moe Norman was considered one of the best and most accurate ball strikers in golf.

For me putting…followed closely by the Hellish Slice!
