What Is A Good Way To Practice Golf Over The Winter?
Winter’s here and the golf season is over, but I have tryouts for the golf team in March. Since no courses will be open until after then, how can I keep from getting “stiff” over the winter. What are some good ways to practice?

You can find a indoor driving range or even an outdoor because they have turf instead of real grass and then you can practice your drive. You can also go to Putt-Putt and this is like the BEST way to practice your putting because you have to read the greens and negotiate harder slopes/turns. Use your real putter though. Go to a pro shop and use their swing analyzer and this can tell you if your swing is wrong. I recommend the Medicus Dual-Hinge driver and the 5-iron. These have helped mold my swing and I hit longer, straighter shots consistently. You’ll have to get out there on the course some time in the cold if you want to really practice. Just don’t play a full 18 or even 9. You can use the practice greens and bunkers even the driving range if you club has one. Just focus on the fundamentals of golf and try not let yourself get too wrapped up in details. Go for control, and in golf Less is More. Hope this helps! Happy New Year and good luck to you in making the golf team in March!
make a sort of hole in your house and then yell fore and hit the ball just be sure to not break anything
I bought the yellow foam practice balls, (try the white wiffle if you don’t have snow), and found that i can keep loose all winter long. granted its not the same, but it keeps me loose. also check your local pro shop. some have virtual courses the added bonus is that you hit a real ball.
I dunno, I’m just doing this for points.
If you really want, I can make you a program to fulfill you needs…
I work with the local College players in the winter..
I bought a cheap putting mat at my local sporting goods store. For a cheap one they’re usually around the 30-40 dollar price range. You could do that or just use a cup in your house, and also try to find an indoor driving range in your area to keep your skills sharp. If you don’t have one near you, try chipping in a large room in your house, or maybe by a momentus swing trainer or another swing trainer to practice your swing.
well i know in my area there are golf domes. it is basically a huge dome that u go inside and it is like a miny driving range but only like 150 yards. it is good just to keep loose and still work on your swing in the winter. look in your local yellow pages, or on the net for something.
hope this helps.
get old balls go to an open Field and hit away
