Need Tips on Locating Golf Ball After Hitting From Tee Box…

First off, I am really bad at looking/locating my golf ball…

Can y’all provide some good tips in knowing where you hit your golf balls?

Ex: When teeing off from tee box, I can see where I hit my ball but when getting there, I would spend a lot time looking for it. Of course, when in the fairway or on a par 3, i have no problem. It is just when I am driving the ball or hitting a long iron on par 4 & up.

Any Tips???

Thanks in advance…

First, don’t stop looking at the ball until it has come to rest. As best as you can, identify a tree or shrub or shadow or something near where you think it is so that you can line it up later. Go to the spot with the tree or shadow and line it up with where you hit from the tee box and look along the line. The main thing is, when cursing your shot, don’t look away. Mark the spot. Go get it. Hit again. Make a birdie on the next hole. FORE!

Also, don’t look in the same place over and over. Move on to the next area. It isn’t where you have already looked.

There are special glasses that you can wear that are designed to highlight the white, so you will easily be able to notice a golf ball with these glasses on.
