Ys I have! It was ALOT of fun. Smile nicely. Say yes sir, yes mam… ect. Be very polite. Do not dress like a tramp. And ask them when they may need another round, and try to swing back close to that time!
Be friendly, polite and classy. Do not act like a hussy, you may get more tips, but you won’t be asked back.
Most of the resort courses have a drink cart girl that goes around during the day running the course in a end to start fashion to sell drinks or parks at a play where holes come together away from the clubhouse. Generally they are young, attractive and dressed to make you smile and tip. Tipping is optional but I always give them a few bucks.
I haven’t been the “beer cart girl” but I have run a bunch of these informal tournaments. So, here is my advice:
1. Be cute and laugh it up with the drunken louts.
2. Have a variety of beers on hand. You don’t want to here, “Gee, only Miller Lite? No Bud?”
3. Make sure the beer is ice cold.
4. Have a big cup taped to your cart that subtly says, “Tips!”
5. Move fast, hit as many foursomes as possible.
6. Have beers available at the end, especially if it is a shotgun start.
7. Have some sunscreen and offer it to the guys if they are looking lobster-like.
Have fun and make sure the golfers have designated drivers.
I have seen many. The keys are looks, personality and customer service. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Try to look as cute and even tastefully sexy as you can. Be friendly and very customer service oriented. SMILE! If you take care of the golfers, the golfers will take care of you. Treat them the way you would want to be treated if you were in their shoes. Guys like girls, especially cute ones, especially cute ones that have beer!
Im gona tell you how it is, if you are hot , friendly , and wear short shorts or a skirt you will make tips its that simple.
