too much bounce,
This is a great, durable, punishable piece of net. I bought one on January and it lasted almost the whole year. You might say ,”just a year”? Well, I never put the net away..rain and sun, sun and rain…the net didn’t give up! Sure it began to tear from some points (straps) after a while but never the mesh. I hit this thing everyday of the year, at least 75 to 100 balls daily; 6 iron, 4 hybrid, 3 hybrid, driver. I changed my hitting mat twice before having to change the net. The only con is that the ball bounces back more that I like. If you set it up in grass there is no problem because the ball is not going to roll back to you that much, but if you have it on solid surface like I do, set a trap behind you or be ready to chase that ball…No risk of injury because the bounce is not hazarous..is just anoying having to chase the ball. I would be nice if the net traps the ball and lets it drop straight down. Before this one I bought a Wilson net that made the ball drop straight down after impact but it lasted no more than 3 months. After 3 months of use the ball just went thru the mesh! fore!!!
Another pro is that you can hit virutally every club with to it; yes wedges too. Just be sure to get closer if you are going to hit wedges against it.

|Izzo Giant Jr. – Pitch-Back Machine,
Good-looking, easy to set up. Big problem, though – hitting driver or 3, 4 and 5 irons, the ball comes flying back at you and if it doesn’t hit you, can end up 5 feet behind you! This is ridiculous! I’m looking to modify this thing with some sort of hanging baffle net to catch the ball before it ricochets.

|OK, but not so durable,
Net works fine. There is some bounce back on woods but haven’t been hit yet so not that big of a deal. The only real issue I have is the straps on the net that hold in the pegs (in the rear) have rotted away. I’m assuming this is due to weather but it seems they should hold up longer than 6 months. I live in Florida so we do get more than average rain, but I expected better. Luckily, you can put the pegs through metal loops in the front to keep the net secured in the ground.
I would say this net is better than the cheap one that I took back to Walmart, but doesn’t replace the driving range.
