This umbrella is a beast. Ive used it in Berkeley,CA where the winds and rain and ruin your clothes. This withstood all of that and it can withstand like 75mph winds. Used for beach as well.

|Great Umbrella!!!,
Even though it’s kind of bulky and the release to take the umbrella down always scares me and I worry it’s going to pinch my thumb, I love the umbrella. It’s very sturdy. I use it when I go out on rainy days and need a small sheltered place to take pix. The dome is strong. It is a manual engage, so it requires a bit of strength to get the dome up and locked, but it stands up to the gusts of wind. Haven’t inverted it yet, although I suppose that that’s inevitable considering that I go out in the rain a fair amount of the time. The strength of the umbrella staff is such that I can lean against it (when the dome isn’t deployed) to stabilize my pictures. The downside is that the umbrella is just a tad heavy and bulky which makes it difficult to operate a camera and hold the umbrella up. (There should be an option for a curved handle, but there isn’t). It can’t be hooked over an arm when it’s not deployed, but, frankly, the strength of the dome is the selling feature. It’s well made, no loose threads, nothing rattles. The handle is firmly attached. I thought I got a good deal. I’d buy it again.

|Decent Umbrella,
This Gustbuster is nice. It’s decently lightweight and shelds well from the rain. It comes with a wrap-around sheath. Large umbrella for a good price that holds well against the wind.
