No, more like Bush headed for the nearest spider hole while NY was attacked. He had to be dragged back to Washington by his advisers, he was halfway to Nebraska.
He was Golfing with Boehner, and it’s a non hostile way to talk about the budget. I don’t blame him for that. I blame Obama for not listening to S&P warnings. S&P stated that we needed to cut more, and need to deal with Medicare and other Entitlement programs. Obama ignored it. S&P stated that there was too much political fighting, so Obama allowed a press release to go through blaming the tea party.
