If, as the man says, Tiger showed a complete lack of morals, why haven’t we had the same reaction to our governors, politicians, clergy and famous people who have sinned ? Because Tiger was on a pedestal . All the bigots and ” holier than thou” citizenry needed was an excuse to ” clobber ” him. This is their chance. It sells papers and air time and it makes the small people feel good. The underachievers just love this.
Simply because there are many immature females who are still out to bash every male for something they themselves are equally guilty for..It’s like somehow this makes them feel superior even though they are equally as guilty of the same acts. Funny that you never see a female hit the media propaganda pages for their cheating ways.. Maybe it’s because no male would ever try and make a big deal out of something that is none of their business, also no male would ever even think of going public to get money or fame from sleeping with someone. It’s a female thing.. Pathetic but a female thing..
Believe me I am not at all sticking up for Tiger he was wrong but if this was a female this wouldn’t have even been heard about.
I will guarentee there will be tons of thumbs down on this by females.. but most people know the truth of this…it’s only the females that won’t admit it and just NEED to bash men over this.
Now to Tiger.. He didn’t CHOOSE to be anyones role model, he CHOSE to play golf and by doing that people themselves put up the standards he must live by. Now people are bashing him for something he never chose to do.. Tiger is a GREAT golfer, and that was all he set out to become.. He never agreed to be your idol so later on in his career people could rip him to shreds for GOSSIP about his personal life. Remember.. this all is STILL only GOSSIP.. there has been NO admission of guilt by Tiger or anyone that surrounds him. This all is going off a bunch of low life hoes accusations who are trying to make a buck off his fame. Not even Elin herself has made a single comment.. I’m sure there is SOME truth to SOME of this, but to what extent I have no clue and I’m not about to believe what i read in the press who is trying to SELL a story and the comments from a bunch of “bar hags” trying to get rich and get some fame.
Tiger did it to himself, he led this secret life totally opposite that he was portraying for his image. Thats why ppl have a hard time with it.
And anyone else who does the same thing….priests, politicians, etc….
Unfortunately it is a fine line when you are a public person and a “roll” model type. To me he is famous for what he did on the golf course not what he did in his bedroom. I don’t think what he did was right but he is a human being who makes mistakes like the rest of us. I also think the girls that he was with that are coming out and speaking publicly about it, I think that is wrong. I really feel bad for his wife they have to deal with a private matter not only among themselves but now with the whole world. I wish the press would just leave them be to let them figure it out.
It’s true alot of people are making jokes about Tiger. What’s not so funny is how his children will react in about 10-15 years when they find out what really happened. In terms of it not being anyone’s business, well, Tiger more or less opened himself up to being a celebrity, and before that his father Earl groomed him for it (who puts their 3-5 year old on Mike Douglas or whatever show it was if you don’t want him to be a celebrity or calls him ‘the second coming’?) So, for better or worse, he understands from the beginning that his life will be under far more scrutiny than the average persons. I guess he really is just getting what he deserves, alot of money but very little respect except for the hardcore jock sniffers.
