Also, what kind of grinds does he have on them, if any?
I can’t find any recent information about this anywhere. If you have a link that would be awesome.

what is the difference between Tiger Wood’s car and a golf ball? Tiger can drive a golf ball 400 yards.

  2. Tyler says:

His 60 degree wedge has 6 degrees of bounce on it. His 56 degree wedge, usually bent to 58 degrees has 8 degrees of bounce on it. I will give you the link. Lastly I just want to comment on the the “joke” of the difference between Tiger’s car and a golf ball. Shouldn’t it be 300 yards because even though Tiger is a great golfer he doesn’t drive the 400 yards?

Well…Tyler’s information is a bit dated. Tiger, plays, Nike Prototype wedges…very similar to the SV’s…56 degree w/ 8 degrees of bounce and a 60 degree w/ 5 degrees of bounce. They had “U” grooves, unlike his irons that have had “V” grooves all year. He’ll be going with 3 wedges for 2010 and take 5-6 with him, as, all the players in 2010, to practice rounds. With different conditions at each course will dictate which wedges the pro’s will use on a per tournament basis. It’s fun to watch him at the range at, Isleworth.
