With the appointment of the internationally renowned Southern Golf Oman as the Golf Course Construction Contractor, the 18-hole standard course, inclusive of a dedicated academy, driving range and floodlit par 3 practice facility is expected to fully open in 2011 with the initial 9-hole golf facility scheduled for the end of 2010.
