Today the stock market crashed, the DOW Jones fell more than 500 points in what’s the biggest single day drop since 2008. And this morning on CNN the attention was on the big return of Tiger Woods. Now we’ll move over to MSNBC where they mention something that is at least news, and that is a very telling factor of where the country stands but let’s just say extensive is not the word we would use to describe it. Take a look.

@Hkhan23 I didn’t say that these networks were Perfect. People need to evolve I to doing their own research, and the Internet provides that. I’m aware of the flaws of these networks, however they are a universe better than the mainstream media because they are real journalists and you can’t deny that. They don’t take orders from Roger Ales. They should be used as a bridge in order for people to find the news at it’s most potent level.

@consdel2000 because i had 5 open positions.. .that means I had 5 separate contracts all bought at different times… when the dow goes up one point i make 10 dollars. if it goes down 1 point i lose 10 dollars.. I use a different platform based out of the U.K.. so before you call me a LIAR stop acting like you knwo what you are talking about you idiot…you don’t know shit about the market do u..

When the mainstream is owned and run by Wall Street, they tend to talk to Wall Street… and to the dumbed down sheeple. It is interesting how mainstream news can be on 2 levels at the same time.
For me, since I have my “They Live” sunglasses on, I avoid the mainstream, but sometimes want to see what is being programmed into most people’s minds, but only until I can’t take it anymore, which usually takes little time, and want to jump through the TV and slap a few people around, to put it mildly

Local news channels shouldn’t have a single story about sports, at all. It’s criminal that ANY time is spent on such diversions, but that’s what they are and we all know that – diversions. Think about it, would ESPN broadcasters ever dare dream of inserting a breaking news story anywhere in their 24/7 line-up? And yet, every single local news station across America commits (what should be…) valuable air-time to talk of trades, scores, players egos, etc. Criminal, that’s all I have to say.
