Question by Nelly J: Do you ever notice than when photo is taken of…?
Tiger Wood’s wife, they sometimes write “Elin Nordegren?” I find that pretty rude, why can’t they just put “Elin Woods?” Have any of you noticed this? Just go to any website with pictures and I guarantee you they will write her maiden name and not her married name.

Most women who are famous like Tiger Wood’s wife keep their maiden name and choose not to change their last name.

What can you expect from the internet? So many people of the media are shallow, jealous, non producing non-entities .What you describe is rude. So long as Tiger continues to be the gentleman, the husband, the father and the benefactor that his father and mother brought up and taught, all will be right for Tiger, Elin, Sam and the world.

That happens with the majority of celebrities. For instance:
Angelina Jolie(not Pitt)
Demi Moore(not Kuchar and not Willis when she was married to Bruce Willis)
Jennifer Lopez(not Anthony)
Heidi Klum kept her maiden name
Cindy Crawford kept her maiden name
and so many more.
Much ado about nothing; it’s entirely possible that she hasn’t legally changed her name, or that for professional purposes she still goes by her maiden name.
If the photo was taken prior to her marriage, then technically, the photo would have been taken of Elin Nordegren.
I’m not inclined to view this as being an intentional slight on either her part or her husband.
She had a career as a model and was fairly famous before she married him so it just shows respect for her. A lot of women don’t even change their name when they get married anymore.
Elin achieved a certain amount of celebrity prior to her marriage to Tiger…..Like a lot of celebrities she may prefer the usage of her maiden name on all photographs……Who can figure why?
