Danica Patrick, Is This Tiger Woods History?
I am a non-Racing fan, but I like rooting for the underdog. How does Danica Patrick’s win rate in history? Is it historic like Tiger Woods winning his first Masters?

Not even close.
Tiger’s Masters win was a brilliant, four day performance, the result of years of constant, dedicated, grueling practice.
Danica Patrick was in the right car, on the right team, with the a car that won a race on a fuel mileage issue. IRL/Champ racing is so far down in viewer ratings that the media will hype the hell out of this win in a fruitless effort to re-gain fans lost to other sports arenas. The race win is noteworthy in that it was a female but other than Shirley Muldowney in top fuel dragsters, motor sports will continue to be dominated by male drivers.
Neither gender nor race had anything to do with either win.
Racing cars does not require uncommon talent like golf does.
The number of second, third and fourth generation drivers compared to second generation golfers proves this.
Nope, tiger was expected to win, danica was such an underdog it is historic.
When a woman wins the Masters, then that will be comparable to Danica winning the Indy Car race.
