Question by SAVE OUR FARMS: Are you glad that George Bush says he gave up Golf for the troops?
“I don’t want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf,” he said. “I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.”

Bush said he made that decision after the August 2003 bombing of the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad, which killed Sergio Vieira de Mello, the top U.N. official in Iraq and the organization’s high commissioner for human rights.

Whilst extreamly amusing, it is really sad. How did he manage to rig an election when he is so stupid?

You know, I am pretty charitable, and I just don’t say things like this very often, and only when people have really earned it.

What an absolute ***** this man is. I have respect for the office of President of the United States, but like Richard Nixon and a select couple of others, I have no respect for this man who holds this honorable office whatsoever.

He has no intellectual prowess, no compassion, no class, and is a borderline megalomaniac. And, He was never actually elected to his office either time. This is truly a dark time in American history. All of this makes Watergate (a true governmental crisis) look like a kiddie party.

He gave up golf. Maybe someone who can’t get proper veteran’s benefits can use his now-defunct golf clubs for legs.

God Bless America, and God (or someone with some clout) help America, too.

what wrong with golf? why does he need to go out of his way to be miserable. seems like hes jus trying to get people to like him. i like that hes thinking about the troops though

The press has had field days with former presidents playing golf during difficult times. As the press is always around, a president may be asked a serious question at any time, even prior to a round of golf. As this president has had a sore media relationship due to Al Gores BS in 2000, I think it was a wise choice.

Once again his insincerity shows through. If my son died in Iraq, I would be appalled. I can’t believe anyone falls for this crap.

I’m sorry, but after hearing that, I now know why people have brain aneurysms.

HE HAS THE POWER TO END THIS BULL SHIT!!!

BUT NO! HE STAYS IN SO HE, AND ALL HIS OTHER WHITE ASS CRONIES CAN GET RICH.

Okay, fine; he gives up golf. Woop fucking do.
But the man takes more vacations than the Top 1 percent combined.

Maybe if he was doing his fucking job, we wouldn’t be in this bull shit.

But no. It can’t be like that.
    And you wanna know why?

    BECAUSE HE’S A FUCKING IDIOT!!!
