This creates sidespin which causes the slice. You want the ball to fly more to the left so you think by swinging that direction you'll straighten out, but in fact it causes it to curve more to the right. You should work on swinging towards the target, and you can do this by placing a tee 6 inches in front of the ball on the target line and try to make sure you hit the tee after you hit the ball. you will notice in order to achieve this you'll have to take the club back a little more on the inside and then swing out towards the target. *Now if you don't have the outside in swing but you still slice you're probably leaving the face of the club open at impact, which causes the sidespin again. A way to fix this is by changing your grip. Grab the club and turn your left hand on the grip until you see at least two knuckles and turn your right hand the same direction until you see no knuckles. The "V"s formed by your thumb and pointer finger on both hands should be pointing towards the right side of your body. *The last possible fix is to make sure you "release" the club after impact, meaning your right hand rolls over your left hand. You can check this by taking a practice swing and stopping at waist high on the follow through. If your right hand isn't on top of the left you are holding off the release, which leaves the face open. There are a lot of different things to try,IE foot work,a stronger grip etc...,but try slowing down your swing speed and see if that helps..Good luck !!!
